You would not think with the last name “May,” that our chef is third generation Italian…but the sauce is in his blood. A graduate of San Diego Culinary Institute, Chef Aaron May has been serving up exceptional food at great local restaurants since 2008. After spending time in some class kitchens such as the Grille at the US Grant and The A.R. Valentien at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, he finds himself trending back to the simple and pure foods that speak less to flash and flair, and more to that which is honest, comfortable and nourishing. No fuss. “Good ingredients speak for themselves.”
To feed your soul is to feed your neighbors equally well. His kitchen is your kitchen and he is overjoyed to play a small part in a big way for our community. He embodies the spirit of “locale” and can’t wait for you to say “Ciao” the next time you are in!
